Cars passing each other on I-84 on the Oregon side of the Columbia River. Behind the cars, lush evergreens at the start of autumn. Above the trees, evidence still lurks of the Eagle Creek Fire in 2017, the mountain peaks laid bare with the corpses of burnt trees.
