Latourell Falls' Descent
Latourell Falls in the Columbia River Gorge, pictured here on a cloudy day. The falls shoots straight down at a slight angle into a small pool of water in early autumn. Lichen grows on the rock face either side of the falling water. A creek formed from the overflowing pool streams into the foreground.
