A lone old pickup truck barrels down the road in this snowy and foggy landscape in Upstate New York. I picked up a 16-35mm f/4L IS USM right before Christmas and spent the entire break shooting with this lens. I don't miss the extra 5mm on the telephoto end of my old 17-40mm f/4L USM. The 16-35mm f/4L IS USM weighs more, but paired with my 70-200mm f/4L IS USM I have a great pair of zooms to venture out with now. There is considerably less barrel distortion, vignetting, and higher resolution and even more sharpness than the 17-40mm f/4L.
