The town of Bodie, CA slowly decays in the desert in the Eastern High Sierras. At 8000 ft. up, this town was built around a once very active gold mine. The town was deserted in the 1930s and has since been preserved for the public to view. Get there early, because to get a shot without people in it will be difficult in the later morning hours. More photos from this location coming up!
