The foothills leading up to the Angeles National Forest are being encroached on by suburbia. Why do people have to lay sod down and ruin the native habitat that is beautiful on it's own? What is with these Southern Californians having to conquer nature by growing a green lawn, pumping water into an ecosystem that was never meant to sip on its sweet nectar? Some towns feature lavish water fountains in the center of town. Who really thinks this is a good idea?
