This approach to light painting is different than most, in place of a light that I would use as a brush, the camera itself becomes the object of movement. I bend, twist and zoom during along exposures at night to achieve interesting results. This is one of my first successful attempts at light painting with a film camera. Taken with a Canon Elan 7E, probably with a crappy lens. Little processing done in Photoshop to tighten up the levels. All of the light paintings I create and done entirely in camera with little post processing.
