This is a view of South Troy and the Hudson River Valley just north of Albany, New York. The dome shaped building in the lower right is where they used to make gas lights. Troy, NY is known as the Collar City for its famed production of shirt collars in the 19th century. The morning had beautiful light. The rain started around 2. There was a hurricane watch all day. I remember sitting inside, looking out a window to make sure the rain wasn't sideways.
