This photo is part of a series of images where I am documenting the state of the American Dream in American during the latest recession. I shot this at a vacant Bog Box store somewhere in Arizona while driving cross country. This particular photo is probably a familiar scene in many rural communities in the U.S.A. Sometimes people repurpose these structures into community centers, churches, art centers, but this one was vacant when I happened upon it. I thought it was odd a light was missing. 3 shot HDR shot shot on a tripod w/ Canon 7D, processed in Camera Raw to remove distortion from 17-40mm f/4L, then Merge to HDR Pro and that was it. I like the color contrast and detail in the structure, and the overall tone of the lighting. What do you like about it? This photo has been recently reprocessed for a submission to an exhibition.
